Maize DDGS 30%

DDGS, or Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles, is a valuable co-product of ethanol production from mainly corn or rice. It is formed through the process of distillation, where the starch in grains is fermented to produce ethanol, leaving behind a nutrient-rich residue.

DDGS is widely used in animal feed due to its high protein, fiber, and energy content, making it a cost-effective alternative to traditional feed ingredients like corn and soybean meal. The nutritional profile of DDGS varies depending on the grain source and the ethanol production process, but typically it contains about 28 - 43% protein and 6-12% fiber.

It also retains much of the original grain's vitamins and minerals, including phosphorus and potassium. These nutritional attributes make DDGS particularly beneficial for livestock such as cattle, pigs, and poultry, contributing to improved growth rates and feed efficiency.
